Hi Everyone,
Indiegrrl Women in the Arts nonprofit has these opportunities open for ANYONE identified as female in music, comedy, and spoken word and for female fronted bands/groups. Indiegrrl has plans to build a new music and art educational facility that will also hold camps for children and house songwriting retreats and workshops for adults. We will build a mentoring network between adult teachers and youth interested in advancing their skills in music and art.
The 2010 Indiegrrl International Music & Arts Conference & Festival in downtown Knoxville, TN is open to EVERYONE both female and male to attend.
Indiegrrl Women in the Arts nonprofit is now taking submissions for the following showcase opportunities at festivals and the conference.

2010 Indiegrrl International Music & Arts Conference & Festival in Knoxville, TN in August

Early bird Registration has begun for the 2010 Indiegrrl International Music & Arts Conference & Festival in August in downtown Knoxville, TN. 4 nights of music, comedy, spoken word, and art exhibits, and 2 days of workshops, panel discussions, and keynote speakers. Early Bird Conference Pass is $80. The luxurious Crowne Plaza Hotel on the Market Square is the hosting site and is extending a $89 room rate for conference attendees. It is walking distance to all the venues and galleries in the downtown Knoxville Market Square area that are hosting our showcases.
