Jami Templeton (recently featured with Bobby Valentino on BET's Played By Fame) is a world renowned vocal coach, songwriter, and seasoned performer. She got her start in the classical world of opera, and has since branched out to nearly every genre of music from hip hop to country.
Jami attended Manhattan School of Music where she studied under master teacher, Trish McCaffrey, and has received nods for her vocal excellence from the highly esteemed Metropolitan Opera. She has also had the opportunity to work with many legends in opera. Bruno Rigacci, Sherrill Milnes, Joan Dorneman, Dean Williamson-to name a few. Her passion for writing and recording brought her to Los Angeles where she worked with top voice teacher, Seth Riggs and style coach, Abraham McDonald, broading her singing and writing palate to pop, gospel, hip hop and r&b.
Students include and/or have performed with Bobby Valentino, Christina Aguilera, Keyshia Cole, Eric Benet, Idina Menzel and have been seen in leading roles on Broadway.
Jami wrote and co-produced her debut album, PURPLE SKIES, which was released to an overwhelming response in the summer of 2008. It is now available at itunes.com/jamitemp
